New year looks

I went back to Shanghai for the Chinese New Year(Lunar new year).
It's been 4 years since I lived in the US without going home for the Chinese New Year..
Fortunately I'm now living in Tokyo.. just 2-3 hour flight to Shanghai =)
It's always good to see some old friends and go shopping together! and especially we found these Ann Demeulemeester red wedges on sale!! yay! I have been looking for these short ankle version for a few months.. sold out in the states and not available in Japan.. but finally they are mine now!

Finally we had the first shipment by sea sent on Thursday.
More space at home now... but still no place to take photos..




I went to shoe repairs and wanted to have these Margiela boots cleaned but unfortunately everyone told me there's nothing they could do. So they are back home now..

Leopard Fall

Quick post.

So we finally started packing for Japan (the first shipment by sea will be next week... so half of the home will be gone lol ).  And there are also many other things... such as my visa, the documents for Pudding,etc...

Spring is back here.

Thanks to the Ohio weather... It's almost fall here for only a few days.. so I finally got the chance to wear these Margielas.

I have been looking for the perfect nudy pumps around for a while. And finally got these in by accident... (yes it was the Project No.8 sale)

As you know, I'm a pretty much hardcore Margiela shoe fan :P

I'm totally in love with the Phillip Lim edie bag in leopard print suede..

I didn't feel "it" at all when trying on the studded ones.. but I'm now seriously/officially in love with this pretty. Isn't she adorable??


SO I'm really really really incredibly lazy these days. I didn't even wear any make up when going out. NOT wearing make up isn't the problem. but the problem is that I made a huge mistake when taking care of my eyebrows the other day. and they look crazy right now.

and sorry I'm using my digital camera right now..photos not as nice as the DSLR. Another problem when I'm lazy...

I bought these boots a few months ago but never got to wear them (of course, it's hot.)
and my friend in Shanghai bought her boots on NAP UK and had them sent to her home in UK.. so she wanted me to take some photos to show her the boots first. haha so here we are.
I tried the boots with several different outfits..

Exhausted now.. but i need to wake up early before 4am in the morning get on the road to Nashville.. but I love road trip. good part is I don't drive...cuz I can't drive. sorry hubby :P
and I don't need to worry about luggage being oversized or anything like that. and we can travel with Pudding too!! (she loves jumping around in the car or being my mini pillow haha)

BRIGHT BLUE

when I saw these H&M jeggings (do people still call them like this???),
I was almost screaming..   They look like the pair of A.P.C pants I saw in LA that was sold out of my size. but anyways they are still very different. cuz the A.P.C one that I'm dying for is made of smooth cotton and has straight cut.
well but they do have almost same color and this H&M one is brighter..

the best thing is. they go soo well with anything. I'm excited to try wearing them with some crazy pattern next time.

P.S: I think I look funny in some of the photos with the poses, huh??

Fluorescent/summer/art

I LOVE THE PRINT. as you can tell already...
There's nothing better than the painting-ish dress.
and it is also the reason why I adore everything Marni soo much.
Their prints and shape always remind me of art and especially these bold color blocks make me want to pick up my paintbrushes and make some new work!

And of course, these Margiela booties took my heart again when I saw them.
they just look like the long boots melted in the summer heat!! :P

Here's what I received in mail today!!

YAY!!!

My heart has been with them since the day I saw them few seasons ago in the photo!
and it was like a dream come true in real life when I put them on in the store!!!
I AM IN LOVE!!

Boot season and knockoffs - [PART 1]

got an email from Saks this morning and checked bootie section..

hmmmmmmm.

what I felt was...ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
I don't know why Saks put these Dolce Vita booties on the website while you sell the real Margiela ones too???



I don't hate Dolce Vita. but I just cannot understand why so many shoe makers are getting their hands on knockoffs... DV used to have a lot of their own designs so why do they have to do the knockoffs.. it makes me change my opinions on their brand image.

and Giuseppe has some pairs that look like McQueen or Givenchy...
oh well..

and here are also the Loeffler Randall booties that totally remind me of the Louboutin booties this season.



of course the price difference is a lot. but knockoff is knockoff. you know it too.

Nice Brian Atwood. Though the shape of the heels look kinda like the nail heel booties from Margiela years ago.


The new Chloe booties look like the new versions of the ones they had last year.

Dolce & Gabbana vs House of Harlow...

LOOK AT THESE!! do you know which is which??

so Dolce & Gabbana on the left and House of Harlow on the right.
I think they are both lovely. but definitely Dolce wins!!
it's not just about covering the shoe with lace that one person can easily imagine..IMO
the ruched Lace with the layers are just beautiful. and of course the lace pattern itself is amazing.



NINA RICCI!!!!AMAZING!!!! Guess I love the ruched silhouette anyways and heels are sooo cute!!
